About Me

I was born and raised in Dallas TX with three other siblings, and I studied Journalism print/online media at the University of Texas at Austin. There I met my future wife, moved to Houston TX and we got married in 2012. We have two children, a girl and a boy, who we love dearly and hope to instill those great morals and values that we have into them. We are both in education, she is an educational diagnostician, and I am pursuing a masters in Digital Learning and Leading because I love teaching, I love technology and I want to combine those passions into a future career.

I began my career in education in 2014 after working a few odd jobs, and have definitely found my calling. I enjoy building relationships with my students and teachers and I am a life-long learner who loves to share stories, ideas and new finding. I’ve worked in HISD as an ELA teacher and am currently working in FBISD teaching the same content on the 8th grade level.

I am a life-long learner and enjoy sharing learning experiences with my peers, fellow teachers and instilling a love of learning in my students or anyone I come into contact with. I love building relationships with people and helping them and myself learn and grow. I hope to continuously learn throughout my journey and would love to share all my experiences and learn about others experiences as well.
